Los Cabos in November: Best-Value Tours Compared (Viator vs GetYourGuide vs Klook)
The booking sites block automated price checks, so we read the prices from search-engine copies of each listing page (and, for a few Viator listings, from partner sites that republish Viator's price). Some of those copies may be days or weeks older than our check date. "From" means the lowest date or option. Prices are in the currency the page showed (we didn't convert them). Always confirm the live price for your dates before you book.
Heading to Cabo San Lucas or San José del Cabo in November? It's a warm, mostly dry month, the water is still swimming-pool warm, and the whale sharks in La Paz usually return partway through the month. Many of the best-known tours (High Tide's kayak and snorkel trips, Whale Watch Cabo's zodiacs, Cabo Adventures' day trips) are sold on Viator, GetYourGuide and Klook at different prices, sometimes with different fees added at check-in. We matched them up so you can compare before you book.
The short answer
- Viator showed the lowest "from" price on 5 of the 9 tours we matched, mostly the bigger Cabo Adventures and Cactus Tours trips, and tied on 3 more. The catch: several Viator prices leave out park, dock or ATV fees you pay in cash at check-in, so compare the total, not the headline price.
- GetYourGuide was cheapest on the Mexican Flavors sunset cruise ($107 vs $119) and tied on High Tide's kayak and snorkel tours and the La Paz whale-shark day. Some of its higher prices already include transport and fees.
- Klook had the cheapest Arch boat rides we found (glass-bottom boat from US$30, Arch + whale-watching boat US$37.35), but few of its Los Cabos listings name the operator, and many prices weren't visible to us.
- Whale watching mostly isn't a November activity. The official season runs Dec 15, 2026 to Apr 15, 2027. Swimming with whale sharks near La Paz is the big wildlife trip for November.
What November is like in Los Cabos
- Weather: typical highs around 81–86°F (27–30°C) and lows around 66–73°F (19–23°C), with rain on about one day in an average November.
- Water: the sea averages about 80–82°F (27–28°C), cooling slowly from the start of the month to the end. Most people snorkel without a wetsuit.
- Whales: the commercial whale-watching season starts on December 15 (it runs to April 15, 2027), and peak viewing is late January to February. Early humpbacks are sometimes spotted from mid-to-late November, but don't count on it, and "sightings guarantees" usually start Dec 15.
- Whale sharks (La Paz): the 2026–27 season window runs Oct 1, 2026 to Apr 30, 2027, but boats can only go out once authorities count enough sharks in the bay. Last season swimming started on November 12, and operators are aiming for about mid-November this year. Book the second half of the month, with free cancellation.
- Día de Muertos: on Sunday, November 1, Cabo San Lucas holds its Day of the Dead parade around the Centro, and the marina hosts "Altares en el Mar", a candlelit boat procession. November 2 brings altars and catrinas to San José del Cabo's historic center, and an altar competition at Flora Farms (6–9 PM).
- SCORE Baja 1000 (Nov 9–15): for the first time, the off-road race starts and finishes in San José del Cabo (Avenida Centenario). The race begins November 13, and the course passes Cabo Pulmo, the La Paz area, Todos Santos and Cabo San Lucas. Exciting to watch, but if you're booking a Cabo Pulmo or Todos Santos day trip, avoid race days or ask the operator how they're handling it.
Same tour, three sites
Each row is the same tour (same operator, or same product) found on two or three sites. Ratings are shown as score out of 5 (number of reviews) where the page showed them. The highlighted cell is the lowest price we saw. Fees in italics are paid on the day.
| Tour (operator) | GetYourGuide | Viator | Klook |
|---|---|---|---|
Glass-bottom kayak + snorkel at the Arch & Lover's Beach (High Tide Los Cabos) | From $95 · 4.7 (41) | From $95 · 4.9 (1,094) | Price not shown · operator not shown, probably the same tour |
Guided shore snorkel at Santa María & Chileno bays, with pickup (High Tide Los Cabos) | From $95 | From $95 · 4.9 (462) | US$95 · same listing title, operator not shown |
Zodiac whale watch with a marine biologist, free photos (Whale Watch Cabo) · from Dec 15 | From $114 · 4.8 | From $109 · 4.9 (395) | Not found |
Luxury catamaran whale watching with open bar (Cabo Adventures) · from Dec 15 | From $156, transport and dock fee included | From $129 + $4 dock fee; transport +$15 if you want it | Not found |
Whale-shark snorkel in La Paz, full day from Cabo with lunch (Cabo Adventures) | From $259 | From $259 · 4.9 (974) | Not found |
Cabo Pulmo National Park snorkel expedition (Cabo Adventures) | From $336 · 1.8 (3) | From $279 · 4.8 (117) + $10–15 transport | Not found |
ATV + camel ride + tequila tasting + Mexican buffet (Cabo Adventures) | From $235; listing says park entry and ATV insurance included | From $134 (was $149) + $25 park entry + $35 ATV fee ≈ $194 | Camel-only tour US$133 (not the same tour) |
Migriño beach & desert ATV (Cactus Tours) | From $95 | From $75 + $25 park fee | Not found |
Mexican Flavors sunset cruise: taco buffet + open bar, 2.5 h (Next Experience, Cabo Mar) | From $107 | From $119 | Not found |
Notes: most figures came from a search engine's summary of the listing rather than text we could read on the page, so treat them as rough. The two Cabo Adventures listings disagree on fees: GetYourGuide says park entry and ATV insurance are included, while Cabo Adventures' own site says they're paid at check-in. Check your voucher. Whale Watch Cabo and Cabo Adventures also sell direct, and their own sites showed lower prices when we checked (for example $79 for Whale Watch Cabo's zodiac tour), so it's worth comparing there too.
Best-value picks by activity
Land's End and El Arco
Cheapest look at the Arch: Glass-bottom boat with free time at Playa del Amor on Klook, US$30.00 per adult (ages 11+), a 45-minute boat ride. On Viator, Cabo Paradise Tours' 45-minute Arch tour showed from £22.99 on a UK page (no hotel pickup).
Best way to see it up close: High Tide's glass-bottom kayak + snorkel on Viator, from $95, 4.9 (1,094). It's the same price on GetYourGuide (4.7 from 41 reviews), with pickup, gear and a guide.
Snorkeling at Santa María and Chileno
High Tide's guided shore snorkel is $95 on all three sites: Viator (4.9 from 462), GetYourGuide and Klook. It's about 2 hours from the beach (not a boat trip), with hotel pickup. Book whichever site has your date and the better cancellation terms. Klook also lists a private version at US$125 per person for 2–10 adults.
Snorkel tours can't always land on every beach; one Klook listing notes guests must stay in the reef area at Santa María.
Swimming with whale sharks in La Paz
Cabo Adventures' full-day trip from Cabo (about 10 hours, with transport and lunch) was $259 on both Viator (4.9 from 974) and GetYourGuide (small group of up to 10). We didn't find it on Klook.
Some Viator reviewers mention cancellations, or fewer swims, when there were few sharks. In November, book a date after mid-month and keep free cancellation.
Cabo Pulmo National Park
Same tour, big gap: Cabo Adventures' snorkel expedition was from $279 on Viator, 4.8 (117), plus $10–15 for round-trip transport. On GetYourGuide it was $336, rated 1.8 from just 3 reviews.
Smaller group: Cabo Outfitters' snorkel + kayak day on GetYourGuide, from $214–217, 5.0 (7), max 11 people, with park fees, lunch and pickup included.
It's about a 2-hour drive each way. The Baja 1000 course runs through Cabo Pulmo around November 13–14.
ATVs and camel rides
ATV + camels in one morning: Cabo Adventures' combo on Viator, from $134, plus a $25 park entry and $35 ATV fee at check-in (about $194 in total). On GetYourGuide it's $235, which the listing says includes both fees. Viator still comes out about $40 cheaper.
ATV only: Cactus Tours' Migriño beach & desert ride on Viator, from $75 + $25 park fee, vs $95 on GetYourGuide. Reviewers mention upsells at check-in, so decide in advance whether you want the optional insurance. The cheapest ATV listing we saw was Eco Xperiences on GetYourGuide, from $57 + $25 park fee.
Camels only: Explore Los Cabos on Camelback on Klook, US$133, with a Mexican meal and tequila/mezcal tasting (operator not shown).
Sunset cruises
Dinner + open bar: Mexican Flavors Sunset Cruise on GetYourGuide, from $107, 2.5 hours with a taco buffet and open bar, vs $119 on Viator. From September to April it leaves at 4:30 PM, and hotel transport costs extra.
Cheaper drinks-only option: Cabo San Lucas Sunset Cruise with Unlimited Drinks, from $60, 4.5 (564), on Viator's catamaran cruises page. The Cabo Wave dinner cruise on Viator is from $99 (+$5 cash fee), but rated 4.3 from 54 reviews, and some reviewers say it's more party boat than dinner cruise.
Klook's Sunset Dinner Cruise in Los Cabos only showed a price in Canadian dollars (CA$184.95), so we couldn't compare it directly.
Todos Santos day trips
We didn't find the same Todos Santos tour on two sites, so these are similar tours rather than matches. Most reviewed: Esperanza's Tours on Viator, from $130, about 6 hours, with lunch and a tequila tasting, 4.7–4.8 from roughly 500–600 reviews. Some reviewers wanted more free time and fewer shopping stops. Cheaper and smaller: Panchito Tours' Todos Santos Encounter, from $88 on GetYourGuide, max 14 people. Klook's Magic of Todos Santos half-day tour didn't show a price.
Sport fishing
Fishing in Cabo is mostly sold as private charters, so prices are per boat. The cheapest we saw: Kellyfish Cabo Sportfishing on Viator, $495 per group of up to 4, and a 5-hour private trip on the 30-foot Phantom I on GetYourGuide, from $531 (the 36-foot Phantom II, for up to 8, is from $1,109). We didn't find fishing charters on Klook. Before you book, ask whether fishing licenses, bait and drinks are included.
If you're coming back after December 15: whale watching
Whale Watch Cabo's small-group tour on Viator, from $109, 4.9 (1,199), with a marine biologist and free photos. Its zodiac version (max 10 guests) was also from $109 on Viator, 4.9 (395), and $114 on GetYourGuide. If you see no whales between Dec 15 and Apr 15, you can go again for free.
Cabo Adventures' luxury catamaran on Viator, from $129 + $4 dock fee, 4.9 (1,753). A bigger boat with snacks and an open bar, if you'd rather not ride in a zodiac.
Budget: Klook's Arch & whale-watching boat tour, US$37.35, 4.8 (4). Only about 20 minutes of it is spent whale watching, so think of it as an Arch tour with a bonus.
Which tours fit your kind of trip
Couples
Spend a morning on the glass-bottom kayak + snorkel at the Arch ($95), then take the Mexican Flavors sunset cruise ($107, GetYourGuide) in the evening. If you're there on November 1 or 2, add the Día de Muertos events in Cabo San Lucas or San José del Cabo; the public parades and plaza altars are free.
Families with kids
Choose short, calm-water trips: the glass-bottom boat (US$30 on Klook) and the Santa María / Chileno shore snorkel ($95). Check age limits before you book: Whale Watch Cabo's zodiacs are 8+, and Cabo Adventures' inflatable whale boats are 5+.
Wildlife lovers in November
Make the La Paz whale-shark day ($259) your big trip, on a date after mid-November, and add Cabo Pulmo ($279 on Viator) for the reef. That's two very long days, so don't book them back to back.
On a budget
The cheapest options we found: the Klook Arch boat rides (US$30–37), an ATV ride from $57 + $25 park fee, and a $60 sunset cruise with drinks. Chileno is a public beach, so you can also snorkel there on your own if you bring your own gear.
Culture over beaches
Plan around November 1 and 2 for Día de Muertos, then take a Todos Santos day trip ($130 on Viator, lunch included) or the smaller Panchito Tours version ($88 on GetYourGuide). Avoid November 13–14, when the Baja 1000 race passes Todos Santos.
Booking tips
- Add up the cash fees. Dock fees ($2–5), park entrance ($25) and ATV damage fees ($35) are often paid at check-in and left out of the headline price. Bring small US bills or pesos.
- Check your exact date. "From" prices are for the cheapest date or option, and your date may cost more.
- Check who runs the tour. If the operator name matches, it's the same tour, so the cheapest total wins. Klook often doesn't show the operator.
- Look at the operator's own site. Whale Watch Cabo and Cabo Adventures both showed lower direct prices when we checked.
- Keep free cancellation for wildlife trips. Whale sharks and whales don't keep a schedule, and the port can close in bad weather.
- Watch the currency. Some pages showed GBP, CAD or yuan depending on the version. Set your currency before comparing.
