The booking sites block automated price checks, so we read the prices from search-engine copies of each listing page and, in one case, from a site that republishes platform prices. Some of those copies may be older than our check date. "From" means the lowest date or option. Prices are in the currency the page showed. Always confirm the live price for your dates before you book.

Heading to Seoul in late October or November? Korea travel forums have been busy with first-timers planning two nights to two weeks: palaces and Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market food, families with kids looking for culture, and couples chasing autumn leaves outside the city. The classic day trips — the DMZ, Nami Island and Seoraksan — plus market food tours are sold on Viator, GetYourGuide and Klook, often by the same operator at different headline prices. We matched popular products so you can compare before you book.

The short answer

What November is like in Seoul

Same tour, three sites

Each row is the same tour (same operator) or a closely equivalent popular product found on two or three sites. Ratings are shown as score out of 5 (number of reviews) where the page showed them. The highlighted cell is the lowest price we saw.

Notes: several figures came from a search engine's summary rather than the listing itself, so treat them as rough. The Seoraksan row compares different inclusions: lunch and the cable car can add a real amount to a "cheaper" price. Klook's Gwangjang price came from a site that republishes platform prices, not from Klook.

The DMZ

Lowest "from" price we saw: GetYourGuide's DMZ tours, from $45 for the DMZ with an optional suspension bridge, or from $50 for PLK's DMZ + North Korean defector Q&A (4.9 from about 22,600 reviews). The same PLK tour on Viator showed from $55.

Also compare: Klook's 3rd Tunnel + Gamaksan bridge tour at US$50.00. Lunch is usually not included; check before you compare.

Nami Island, Petite France and the Garden of Morning Calm

Lowest "from" price we saw: Klook's Nami / Petite France / Morning Calm day tour, from US$58.49, 4.8 (8.7K). Viator's equivalent was $73.33 and GetYourGuide's about $84.

On a budget: Klook's Nami + Alpaca / rail bike packages started around US$35.69–37.49 (4.8 from 23K+ reviews), but lunch is extra and the price depends on the package.

Seoraksan National Park

It's a long day (often 12+ hours), so inclusions matter more than the headline price. Viator's Seoraksan + Nami + Morning Calm trip showed from US$95.60 with lunch and the cable car included. Klook's Seoraksan + Nami tour was US$97.55 without them.

Gwangjang Market food tour

Goodmate Travel's two-hour night market tour is the same product on every site: from $73 on GetYourGuide and Viator, about $78 on Klook. It replaces dinner. If you're a confident eater, a DIY Gwangjang evening costs much less.

Which tours fit your kind of trip

Two or three nights, first time

Keep it in the city: Gyeongbokgung, Bukchon and Insadong on your own, a Gwangjang food tour on night one, and one half-day DMZ tour if history matters to you. Save Nami and Seoraksan for a longer trip.

Families with kids

Nami Island packages with Alpaca World or the Gangchon rail bike suit ages 8–12 better than the DMZ's steep tunnel walk. Many tours set a minimum group size, so book with free cancellation.

Autumn-leaf chasers

Go to Seoraksan early (it peaks first), then Nami and Seoul's palaces into early November. Pick a weekday and a tour that includes the cable car so you're not queuing for tickets.

Ingredients for kimchi and bibimbap laid out for a cooking class

Food lovers

Pair the market tour with a cooking class. We didn't find the same class on all three sites: Viator listed a kimchi-chef class from $80, GetYourGuide a kimchi class from £65 and Klook a local cuisine class from about $49.85 (minimum four people). Compare what you'll cook, not just the price.
